Snapshot Sunday: Prague, Czech Republic

This week’s Snapshot Sunday is from a trip I took to Prague in 2009. Prague was an appealing weekend destination for me mostly because I wanted to see this wall dedicated to John Lennon in my quest to visit all the Beatles landmarks around the world. During Communist rule, students would write their grievances on this wall and today it represents ideals like love and peace. The wall is ever-changing, with Beatles lyrics and graffiti inspired by John Lennon being sprayed on in layers. Underneath it all lays a long covered image of John himself. I had a great time photographing different parts of the wall and would love to go back and see how it has changed in the past nearly 5 years.
