I completely agree with you, Thailand is such an amazing, wonderful place. I really enjoyed KSR too, I understand why most people criticise it as being full of backpackers/too touristy/full of touts etc but if you take it for what it is it can be really, really enjoyable!

And yes the ENP was a bit touristy too, but my money was going to help the elephants, so you know what? I didn’t mind that either!

Fantastic post, really brought back a lot of fond memories!
