Looks awesome! I really wanted to wake up early to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat in theory, but when it came down to actually making the decision, I decided I couldn’t handle that early wake up call! You’re a brave one Also yes, Taiwanese people are THE nicest!

Thanks Mimsie! It was really nice and I would recommend Taiwan wholeheartedly. Really easy and fast to get to from Seoul, warmer weather, delicious food, and the people are seriously the nicest.

Ohhh, a sunrise swim sounds pretty freaking cool. Were there waves? When I was a Jungmun Beach this summer the waves were so strong. I’d imagine it would make a sunrise swim less than serene…

This past fall the boy and I managed to haul our carcases out of bed to go for a sunrise swim at Jungmun Beach on Jeju Island. The air was chilly but the water was glorious. We’d had the best intentions to visit Yonggungsa Temple in Busan at sunrise and also to get to Sunrise Peak in Jeju but neither happened. Oh well…some other time.
