I love Hongdae, and Hongdae Free Market! Was able to visit it last November. I met a really wonderful artist as well, but I wish I had met Cho Sun Young too! The poem and the drawing are amazing – reminds me of that scene in “Before Sunrise” where Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy met this poet on the street who made this beautiful poem after they gave the word “milkshake”.

I love it! It’s a shame I don’t make it more often, but it’s a bit of a haul from where I’ve lived. Definitely check it out. There’s also one on Sunday selling different things, I think.
