By: Matthew T /flashback-friday-las-vegas/#comment-849 Tue, 09 Oct 2012 05:12:04 +0000 /?p=1443#comment-849 As a Seoulite now after 4 years in Vegas, I can assure you the ostensible perception newcomers, American and foreign, have of Vegas is merely verisimilitude; though I admit I love hearing that first timers arrive sometimes with less than ideal expectations and leave impressed. I loved my time there, and while I appreciated the strip for the entertainment and jobs it provided to those willing to work there (and even more so, Downtown), you must sometime expand your radius to take in some of the sights outside of the neon as there are some truly beautiful spots within an hour or so of Wynn’s front door.
And gosh, I expected more adventure-seeking from a Michigan grad……:)

Lazy days by the pool, browse a few hotels each day, grab something to eat, shop (or window shop). It might not be endless action, but it will be a relaxing vacation for sure! Enjoy yourself :)
