I was homesick, but all the international counselors are in the same boat, and the American’s are so welcoming and lovely. We’d go to their houses on the weekends, and spend holidays with their families and with Skype and email these days it’s so much easier to go overseas.

I say go for it! It may be just what you need to step out of your comfort zone and leave that homesickness behind
