And there were a few times I stumbled and got scared…maybe not for you :) But the park is worth a visit, in my opinion, even if you’re not hiking. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

I saw your posts on Facebook and it looks like you managed to see some fall foliage! Good think they weren’t beaten off ;)

I stayed in the Seorak Morning Inn and snapped a photo of the mountain, but neither Gil Dong nor I felt like hiking, so we spent our time in Sokcho on the beach and eating delicious seafood (plus eMart pizza).

The hike doesn’t sound too bad actually – handrails, yes? (I’m scared to death of heights – I need handrails!) I LOVE the changing leaves here in Korea. Hopefully it’ll still be pretty when I go on a day trip this weekend, but alas I think most of the leaves have fallen off now. There were people with giant sticks outside my work earlier BEATING THE LEAVES off the trees and I wanted to scream at them to stop!
