It’s hard because I feel so strongly that Cubans deserve the chance for a better life (as I’m sure most people who aren’t Republicans in Congress do), but it’s sad that with that comes McDonalds and other American big culture ruining brands.

I’m hoping to make to to Latin American next year-ish. Hopefully you’re around!

I’m going to be honest, I really want to get to Cuba before all the sanctions are lifted and we start seeing McDonalds and Starbucks lining the streets. I think that would be an absolute nightmare. :P

But I am planning to head back to Latin America soon so hopefully that’s on the cards. And I do want to experience working in Colombia so if you make it there while I’m living there, you always know where to crash. ;)

I actually plan to visit Italy in March and hope to visit Slovenia in the fall. Other countries I plan to hit up in 2015 are Croatia, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Lithuania. Fortunately there are a lot of cheap, direct flights out of Riga to help make all this possible!
